The trees in Third Court are in budburst, fresh young clusters of bright green lining the brown boughs that have been all-too bare since the cold spell that has gripped this land from last December. A beautiful sight of life, but all I can think of is the cavitation that might occur in the trunks following the burst of transpiration from the new leaves. Too much Plant Sciences syllabus in my head, gah! I'm mixing up my science and my art. Or is it possible that the two can converge?
