Back from teaching -albeit highly informally- my first salsa beginner with several friends at a dance studio which quite surprised me because it was unequipped with any form of audio system. Eventually it turned out that Uncle Vincent's pedagogy was still firmly entrenched in the physical reflexes of the former basic classmates, and so it proved to be relatively easier instructing the absolute beginners.
Barely two hours of calling commands leaves the throat parched and slightly sore.. Goodness, how is rueda ever going to be possible? Henceforth, my deepest respect will be due to all enthusiastic instructors.
Revelation of the day: KL is a joy to lead. The height, frame, speed of understanding.. Oh, one cannot but wonder how sought-after a salsera she might make, if she would put her heart into training.. : )

If the good man may desire a search-and-rescue attempt of his fragmented soul and conscience, how shall it be possible, if in the first place he had originally not been steeped in sobering mores.
