I am interested in getting as many friends as I can to join in the celebrations; after all, it is concurrently Nat's birthday celebrations, not to mention my last local New Year festivity for the next three years. Yet the reality that few people are going to enthusiastically chip in to help with the organising, and that I will be away for the most of mid-December, somehow dampens my hopes. I guess we'll just have to make do with what we can squeeze out at the last minute.

A busy young lady finally made time to meet for dinner at JP earlier this evening. Granted, she may be closer in proximity to her university friends these days, yet I still believe that we have yet to lose each other to the vagaries of drifty distances, going by how we can egg each other and still know that beyond the teases and jokes, we remain capable of showing TLC when it counts. Although it may seem, my friend, that the TLC bit is usually lopsided in one direction, no? ;p
