Finally got around to evaluating the hype about Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza Singapura with Cady and Jacq today, and I must say that the fish and chips there is definitely superior to that of Fish And Co's. Gracias to Cady for suggesting that we try it out.. : )

By the side of the dance floor, Terence brought a lady, formerly a protege of Dickson's, over to us and performed the customary introductions. Then without prior warning, he turned to her while pointing at me, saying, you should dance with him, his lead is good. And after what I'd done to poor Ag, I felt it wasn't really genlemanly to refuse the proffered hand.. So for the first time ever, I socialed at Union with a lady whom I'd newly met.
Expecting the worst? Far from it. She was an amazingly intuitive follower with a keen feel for a lead as light as mine, and the entire dance turned out to be a confidence booster, after my recent dips in form. Thank you for the wonderfully useful comments, Deborah, and I hope to ask for a dance from you again. : )
