Why must it.. oh what's the use. Nobody listens anyway. Sometimes staying put in the apartment just fills me with dread of the tension, and why does a home not seem homely for that moment?
And simultaneously comes reverberations that suddenly you fade to a small smudge in the world again. So I face this alone. Rite of passage? Yeah, you could say.

Tomorrow marks the start of my unit's recall mobilisation week. You know, the kind of codewords that go flashing across the TV screen for NSmen to report back to camp by a certain time? Yeah, that.. So to anyone who might be going out with me in the next seven days, please do pardon me if I receive the call and have to move off.
