CPC (Certificate Presentation Ceremony) over. One down, two more to go before in two weeks' time I step off the SAFTI parade square after having exchanged my three white bars for the one black bar. A mad jostle for elbow and head space in the staccato headlights of the paparazzi-ish contraptions only serves a delicate reminder that I've fewer than three weeks left with MJ, Hong and Kerf. Much to do, indeed, within these weeks.
On we go, off to SAFTI - the place where all beginnings began. And I will miss the campfire tomorrow evening as I stay in Bravo wing but perhaps I shall stay a mere floor or two away from Kel so there is at least some link that I can draw to the 29th on our O1 climacteric..
These two weeks will re-inspire Officership and its nobler aspirations, one hopes. So on we go, to the place where all beginnings end.. and where all beginnings emerge.
